Clint A. Zalas

Clint Zalas is a native of South Bend, Indiana. He is a graduate of Purdue University (1996) majoring in Anthropology and History, and of Valparaiso University School of Law (2001). He is an experienced trial attorney whose primary concentration is on plaintiff personal injury, personal injury defense, insurance defense, municipal law, real estate litigation, corporate litigation, and divorce law.

He has represented individuals, businesses, and governmental entities at both trial and appellate levels of litigation. Clint has tried numerous jury cases in State and Federal Court, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Clint is a member of the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court and has served on its Executive Committee. He is an adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School, where he teaches deposition skills. He is a member of the St. Joseph, Indiana State, and American Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.

Clint is also active in his local community and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County.  He is a former past president of the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court.  He currently serves on the executive committee of the St. Joseph County Bar Foundation and also the Rangers Competitive Shooting Club (Trap & Skeet).

For the past twenty years, Clint has held a steadfast devotion to second amendment rights. He has represented Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) in State and Federal Court. He holds an FFL type 7 license as well as a SOT type 2 license. His experience with firearms has allowed him to work with well-known ordnance experts as it pertains to civil litigation.

Nathan D. Ridgway

Nathan D. Ridgway is a native of North Liberty, Indiana. He is a graduate of Carroll University (B.S. 2013) majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, the University of Wyoming College of Law (J.D. 2017), and the University of Wyoming College of Business (M.B.A. 2017).

Nathan’s primary concentration is with personal injury and insurance defense litigation, as well as contract disputes, business torts, bankruptcy, and estate planning. He has been actively involved in auto accident matters, property settlement negotiations, injunctions, business development, and client advocacy work.

Nathan is admitted to practice law in Indiana, Missouri, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Joseph County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Nathan has represented individuals and businesses in litigation regarding employment discrimination, auto injury defense, slip and fall cases, contract disputes, trade secret and confidentiality matters, vehicle title issues, and several others as well.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Nathan was a member of the Student Senate at Carroll University, president of Delta Rho Upsilon fraternity, and actively participated in charitable work with the Women’s Center of Waukesha. At the University of Wyoming, he interned for Judge Thomas Campbell of the Laramie County Judicial District Courts in Cheyenne, Wyoming, was chief editor of “Workers’ Compensation Law, 2nd Edition” written by Prof. Michael Duff, and portrayed John Wilkes Booth in the 2016 Spence Law Firm Historic Trail for the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

Jeremy J. McDonald

Jeremy McDonald is a proud resident of South Bend, Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Wabash College in 2013 and attended the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, graduating with honors in 2016.

Following law school he gained extensive exposure to the judicial process by serving for two years as the law clerk for the Elkhart County Superior Courts 1 and 2, drafting opinions and orders for trial court judges who presided over dockets focused on commercial, personal injury, family, and criminal law. After clerking, he gained additional experience working in private practice for two well-respected firms in Northern Indiana.

Jeremy‘s principal focus is litigation, and he has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal court in cases touching upon various areas of the law, including real estate law, employment law, personal injury law, medical malpractice law, municipal law, probate disputes, landlord-tenant relations, contract disputes, insurance coverage, and low-level expungements.

When he is not in the office, Jeremy enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.

Robert D. Lee – Retired

Robert D. Lee is a native of Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.B.S., 1961) and Valparaiso University School of Law (1966). At Valparaiso University School of Law, he was a member of Delta Theta Phi, and co-founder and business director of Valparaiso University Law Review. He has an extensive career as an experienced trial attorney.

His primary concentration was personal injury litigation, family law, and domestic relations. He represented individuals and business entities at both trial and appellate levels of litigation. He tried numerous jury cases in State and Federal court.

Bob was a member of the St. Joseph, Indiana State and American Bar Associations. He was a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Association Trial Lawyers of America (member, litigation section), Indiana Defense Lawyer Association (Fellow), and the Indiana Bar Foundation.

Bob’s career was marked by involvement in numerous business endeavors. He is the former President of Shakla Inc. International import/export of American products in the Far East. He is also the former part owner and secretary-treasurer of Avanti Motor Corporation and National Inventory Reserve. Lastly, Bob was a U.S.G.A. Regional Affairs Committee member and Rules Official.
